The AWL hosts Lunch & Learn events throughout the year for its membership. Topics are selected based on issues that are of interest or use to the AWL membership. Each event is organized by an AWL board member with assistance from outside resources and speakers.
Recent Lunch & Learn events have included:
- April, 2016: Alberta Lawyers’ Assistance Society (Assist) presentation on personal issues that affect the legal community and resources available to lawyers.
- October, 2015: Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter presentation on family violence and resources available for referral in cases of known or suspected violence.
